Third day in a row of 5 am wakeup calls that didn’t get ignored. This morning I hit the treadmill for speedwork. I’ve found that I prefer to do speedwork on the treadmill b/c I can preset the speed intervals (at least on the newer treadmills). I love this feature! Today I embarked on a 5.5 mile challenge. First .75 and last .75 ran at 11:06…the rest went like this…
.75 – 1.00 @ 10/mm
1.00 – 1.25 @ 9:50/mm
1.25 – 1.50 @ 9:36/mm
1.50 – 1.75 @ 9:10/mm
1.75 – 2.00 @ 10:42/mm
Repeat until mile 4.75, then 4.75 – 5.5 @ 11:06.
Two walk breaks of less than .10 taken at mile 2.00 and 4.00. Overall, good run other than farty, mcfarts next to me. What is up with my getting stuck next to farters lately? Last week it was in Bikram and today on the treadmill. Lay off the beans peeps!
Tomorrow is 2 mile run, at 10:45/mm and weights class with Gazelle’s and hopefully HTC (and her sparkly new engagement ring) too!
